Designed to secure

The Axcient cloud platform is built from the ground up to protect your data, secure your IT infrastructure, and ensure quick and comprehensive recovery in the event of a disaster — whether natural or hacker-made.

As a consolidated hybrid cloud solution, the Anxcient platform provides cloud backup and recovery for physical and virtual servers, laptops and workstations. With Axcient security architecture, your data stays secure in the cloud, in the data center and everywhere between.

Built to give you peace of mind

The Axcient appliance is an enterprise-class server built by HP to custom Axcient specifications. It serves as the local cache and protection for your network devices. The appliance is installed behind your company’s firewalls in compliance with your local network security policies.

This appliance is accessible within your network and via the web-based Axcient management console — which communicates with the appliance over a secured link using browser-based SSL protocol.

Data stays secure in motion and at rest.

Axcient takes precautions to guard your data at all levels, whether in transit or at rest in the data center. Using AES encryption, as required for FIPS 140-2 Level 1 compliance, Axcient securely transmits encrypted data to the data center, where it's stored in an encrypted format.

Access to customer data in the Axcient cloud is limited to authorized users only. Logical controls deny access to any users you have not identified. If appliance authentication with the data center fails, the connection attempt fails and access is blocked.

Replicate your office in the cloud.

It’s not enough just to have local protection. It’s important to have a secondary site safeguarding your data and applications as well. Axcient’s hybrid cloud solution empowers you to protect your IT environment locally and in the cloud.

Axcient takes a snapshot of your physical and virtual servers, laptops and workstations. It saves a copy of that data, encrypts it and securely stores it in the local appliance. You can use this cloud backup data to recover your entire office instantly, from any point in time.

Be prepared for anything.

In a perfect world, your data would stay safe wherever you left it. However, with natural disasters and hackers threatening security, you can’t afford to leave your data unprotected. Axcient helps you plan for the worst and test the reliability of your systems in a crisis.

Knowing for certain your recovery plan will hold up in a real crisis is crucial for your company’s resilience. That’s why regular testing is a business essential. Axcient provides isolated, sandbox environments where you can test your systems without affecting other programs.

Back up so you can keep moving.

In the event of a system breach or natural disaster, Axcient provides the resources you need to get back on your feet quickly. You can mirror your company’s entire IT infrastructure in the cloud via Axcient Fusion, the RaaS solution that can restore your system in minutes.

Axcient Fusion acts as your replicated data center, providing multiple recovery options from a single, image-based snapshot of your systems. Recover data or failover servers in less than an hour, and virtualize the entire office with one click.
