Prior to joining Lenovo, Delia spent 25 years in education, most recently serving as executive director of digital teaching and learning for the Chatham County School District in North Carolina. Delia also served as a writing instructor at the University of Michigan where she was awarded the Moscow Prize for Excellence in Teaching Composition. In addition, she has been a middle and high school English teacher, assistant principal and non-profit director.
Colleen Flannery
Chief Technology Officer, Chandler Unified School District
Combining her two passions — education and technology — Colleen implements innovative edtech solutions to support learning environments and systems across the third largest school district in the state of Arizona. As a former teacher, Colleen always maintains her focus on the student and how to use technology in meaningful ways to improve learning.
Dan Rivera
US SLED Director, Aruba, a Hewlett Packard Enterprise Company
With nearly three decades of IT industry experience, Dan used his E-rate and edtech expertise to help education organizations navigate their technology challenges in his previous role. He has served on advisory boards for Cisco Systems, Tech Data and Ingram Micro, providing key thought leadership and creating strategies to drive success for the public sector.
Heather Shellabarger
Director of Distance Education, United Theological Seminary
Heather is an instructional designer with notable experience in higher education, non-profit organizations, classroom management, e-learning and more. She holds a Master’s degree in Special Education and is currently pursuing a PhD in Education Instructional Design and Technology. Heather develops and implements online course sites and live interactive virtual environments at United Theological Seminary.
Damien Eversmann
Principal Chief Architect, Red Hat
Throughout his career, Damien has served as a developer, system administrator, development manager, enterprise architect and technology director. He has spent the bulk of his career working in or with the public sector on projects ranging from desktop-based widgets to major multi-tiered applications with web APIs. He has a penchant for teaching and demonstration and his additional expertise spans DevOps culture, application modernization and enterprise automation.
Britton Picciolini
Regional Manager, Google for Education
Britton has held positions at Google for 18 years working with large customers including Target, Best Buy and JC Penney. After being personally moved by volunteer teaching with Chicago Public Schools, she now helps K–12 school districts use Google tools to transform the classroom. Britton is also the executive board chair of Spark Chicago, a non-profit career exploration program that mentors middle school students.
David Sanders
Chief Technology Officer, Mesa Public Schools, Arizona
David holds a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership and has served more than 20 years in the K–12 landscape. In his current role as CTO, he is responsible for strategic planning and long-term goals for the largest K–12 district in the state of Arizona. He works to provide technology services, training, support, computing & communication infrastructure and innovation for a wide range of instructional and administrative programs.
