As National Director for Surface, Robert leads the Solution Factory, a Microsoft US (MSUS) initiative to incubate and develop industry solutions built exclusively on Surface devices. The Solution Factory is designed to bring together the best of Surface devices, Microsoft Cloud and a rich development community of ISV’s (Independent Software Vendors) and partners. Since early 2020, Robert and team have introduced several new solutions designed exclusively on Surface that integrate with Microsoft 365, Azure and Microsoft Power Platform. These solutions include return to the workplace/school, calendar hall displays, flexible workspace scheduling, virtual care/telehealth, and hybrid work.

Robert’s role as an influential business and technology leader within the Microsoft Surface business began in 2013. As a Surface Global Black Belt, he was credited with developing several customer-centric processes that are in place today. Throughout his 12-year career at Microsoft, Robert has been recognized for his dynamic and engaging speaking style, achieving “Platinum Speaker” status presenting at Microsoft events and conferences.
